Join us on Monday, August 11th, 6-8PM for our SPACING OUT Party & Report Release at South Oxford Space Great Room (138 South Oxford Street, 2nd Floor) to celebrate the successful completion and release of seven reports from NOCD-NY’s profile series, Innovative Cultural Uses of Urban Space. We will share key recommendations and have some of the authors and featured artists on hand for short Q&As.
Learn more about promising approaches to connect cultural programming to outdoor public spaces, vacant lots and construction sites; find out about successful cultural partnerships in public buildings and religious facilities; and navigate the challenges of co-managed spaces and the creative re-use of existing buildings. Or just mix and mingle with other artists, cultural and community leaders who are doing this work. Refreshments will be served!
Reports are available for free download at this earlier post. Full bound sets will be available at the party.NOCD-NY space series was made possible by the Rockefeller Foundation Cultural Innovation Fund and The New York Community Trust. This event is supported, in part, by the National Endowment for the Arts / Art Works.
