Click on the images to see our Spacing Out event, held Monday, August 11, to celebrate the release of seven reports from our profile series, Innovative Cultural Uses of Urban Space. It was a great opportunity to catch up with friends and talk about cultural uses in adapted buildings, construction sites or transitional zones, public outdoor spaces, publicly owned facilities, and religious spaces.  Refreshments and fantastic baked goods served by Downtown Art‘s Ryan Gilliam didn’t hurt, either. Thanks, Whitney Browne, for documenting the evening so beautifully!

If you weren’t able to make it, you can still download digital files of each report below.  Or if you’d like a printed copy of the full collection, contact us at nocdny@gmail.com.
