Creative Placemaking From the Community Up

On Friday, October 15, participants joined a Creative Placemaking From the Community Up webinar for a lively discussion about how locally-based arts and culture in cities and rural areas can assist to:

  • create economic and health equity
  • advance racial justice and civic participation
  • further access to public space and truly affordable housing
  • be part of an anti displacement strategy

The event featured Caron Atlas of Arts & Democracy and NOCD-NY, Judi Jennings of Kentucky Cultural Organizing Alliance, Jeremy Liu of PolicyLink, Karen Mack of LA Commons, and Damon Rich of Hector. To review, press play below!
