Global Justice Institute at El Puente

The Global Justice Institute (GJI) is a hub for training, development, and convening at El Puente in Brooklyn–realized through a process of codifying El Puenteʼs 35 years of pedagogy and methodology of nurturing leaders for peace and justice.  GJI facilitates ongoing training and leadership development for the entire El Puente organization. It also hosts practitioners from across NYC, nationally and internationally and publishes tools and frameworks to contribute to the wider field. Frameworks and modules focus on: arts for social justice, cultural organizing, community & youth development, environmental advocacy, climate change, and more. GLI works with groups from schools, community-based organizations, cultural institutions, and foundations.
